March 22

Target is almost a like a second home in our house. It is our pharmacy therefore, we are there a couple days a week. It also helps that it has everything from movies, diapers, and groceries. We started going to the Target Pharmacy when Ry was first diagnosed with TS. It is hard to believe that it has been over 6 years now. They have always taken excellent care of us and know our family. It is nice seeing people who seem to genuinely care how the kids are doing and how the medications are working. They also do a great job at helping me keep track of refills and dealing with insurance. When I go I usually try to avoid taking Jake because he tends to get overwhelmed and have a minor meltdown in the store. Unfortunately today I picked him up from school then went and we ended up having to wait on one of Luke's prescriptions to get filled. This meant a trip to Ry and Jake's favorite food spot, the Target "cafe." the kids love a hot dog and icee. It distracted the kids while we waited for meds. and got dinner done (I got a hot dog to go for Luke). Not bad for one store.
