May 25

Memorial day, a day to remember those who have served our nation and a day for family. Sadly, Luke woke up with raspy breathing, seizures and a fever. Needless to say we could not really party with him today. After some Motrin and three breathing treatments, he perked up a little and started playing with Ry and Jake. Because we live so close to March Air Force Base, a parade of motorcycles drive up Van Buren every year in remembrance. Rob's parents usually go, so this year Rob took Jake to watch. Ry hung out with me and Luke at home. Jake liked seeing the motorcycles, but more importantly he liked the one-on-one time with daddy and grandma and grandpa. We were supposed to go to my parents for a barbecue later, but my mom's back wasn't doing great and Luke's breathing wasn't sounding too good, so Rob just took Ry and Jake to swim for an hour. I got a lot done around the house, which is just as exciting to me. It has been a good day off, now I am just hoping Luke won't have to go to the doctor tomorrow.
