After having a couple relaxing days, it had to come to an end. This morning Luke had a test at Loma Linda, so we had to get up early. My mom watched Ry and Jake so that Rob and I could both go to the appointment. We have been waiting for months for Luke to have a swallow test to see if he is aspirating. This last year, it seemed like Luke could not get well. Dealing with the seizures and heart issues has been difficult enough, but adding the pneumonia and breathing has been exhausting. The test today did show that Luke is having problems swallowing, so now we need to do a further test to determine the severity. Luke was such a champion during the test. He was all smiles and so fun. He even fought through two hard seizures, which showed how is swallowing was effected during and after the seizure. It was good to know that we may be able to fix something that Lu struggles with, but frustrating that we have to now do more testing. I know I have said it many times, but my boys is such an incredible trooper :-).
