After a rough day with Jake, Rob and I were looking forward to a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, Luke had other ideas. He woke up at 4 am (Iowa time) with a hard seizure, raspy breathing and a low fever. Our first thought was that our adventure was going to come to an early end. But, after we got the fever down, finished breathing treatments and Luke was sleeping soundly, we decided to see how he did. Thankfully he had a great day. We spent the day at Rob's Aunt Connie and Uncle Calvin's farm. Ry had a blast with her second cousins, while Rob got to visit with family he rarely sees. Jake liked running around and Luke decided basket ball is his sport (makes mommy proud). We did take Luke and Jake to grandma's house to get naps and Jake slept until 9:30 tonight. He got caught up on some much needed sleep and Luke was able to get all his breathing treatments in. We chatted, played basketball, watched kickball, chased kids, went on rides and had an all around fun day! The kids did better today than yesterday, so let's hope the trend continues. The first step will be to see how Luke does tonight.
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." Psalms 28:7
