Luke Preschool, Rylee 5th Grade, Jake 2nd Grade

Life has been so crazy lately, it has been hard to find time to post. The most exciting event as of late is that the kids have finally started school. Ry is sooooo excited. She loves her teachers, therefore I have hope that this year will go much smoother than last year. Jake has his same teacher, that he does really well with. Unfortunately, Jake had a couple really rough days, but there was one really good day. So I have hope, the goal is to really work with Jake and try and make some growth this year. As a first grade teacher I feel like a little bit of a failure with my boy, so I am gonna do my best to make it up to him this year. Luke is back in Preschool, and is still shutting down at school. We had a little trauma the week before school started because Jake and Luke's nurse did not get along so we had to ask for a new nurse. This was really hard for all of us since we had the same nurse for two years. Honestly we had not been that happy with her for awhile, but she knew the routine and it was comfortable. We really had to trust that getting the new nurse was God's plan. Then she was sick for two days, so Lu didn't get to start school until Wednesday. But, I will say, so far so good. She seems to be good with Lu and his teacher likes her, so we will see. I do admit, life has been a little overwhelming as of late, but thankfully it s not because of medical reasons. Gonna keep going with the flow and trusting we are doing what God has planned for our like.
