January 1, 2012: A New Year Begins

A 2012 begins I have once again decided to try my picture a day. Life is so crazy and I have not been very good about sitting back and reflecting on my life. As a kid I LOVED writing in my journal and have missed it as I have gotten older. In the past I have said "I am going to keep up my blog." Yet, I have failed miserably. The only time I was consistent was when I did a picture a day. So, here we go again.

January 1, 2012 started out quiet in the our household. Rob and I were both feeling a little under the weather so we had quiet day at home. Ry decided to take the chance to read one of her new books from Santa. The Cronicles of Narnia is a favorite series of movies in our family, but Ry has never read the books. So, Santa brought Ry the entire series for Christmas. We told her as she finished the books we would watch the movie again. That was motivation enough, Ry spent most of the first day of 2012 reading. She did finish the book and we finished out New Year's Day watching the movie.
