Improving

Yesterday, Luke seemed to be doing better and all the kids were restless. The solution to that problem is a trip to Grammy and Papa's. We were worried about taking Luke, but thought the fresh air would be good for him. Turns out it was and he was all smiles. Rob took all three kids onto the trampoline and they loved it, it also wore them all out. Grammy and Papa got pizza for lunch and then it was time to head home.

Rob took the boys home for a nap, while Ry and I went to the movies with Staci and Hannah. We went and saw Coralina, which I worried would be too scary for Ry, but she loved it. I am so grateful that Ry and Hannah are so close and have had the chance to grow up together. I still give Hannah a lot of the credit for Ry developing and doing so great when her seizures first started at 18 months. From birth she has had her cousin to socialize with, play with and copy. They are both so different, but the love and friendship they share is an amazing bond.

Once the movie ended I dropped Ry at home and went to Lisa's to work on my 365 day scrapbook. The last couple years I have converted to digital scrapbooking and love it, but Lisa got me this album where you take a picture for each day and write something little about the day. I am loving figuring out what picture should be taken and documenting our "crazy" life. This year has already been filled with so many changes/trials and it is going to be interesting to look back and see how God brought us through the tough times. And, as most know, taking pictures and writing about my family is one of my favorite things to do :-).

When I got home, I took over Luke duty who doesn't seem to want to sleep since he is feeling better. He finally fell asleep around 1:15 am and as soon as I laid him down Ry walked in with a raging fever. She is last one to get this latest cycle of illness, I am just praying it doesn't fall back on Luke (now that he is off the amoxicillin he is at a higher risk). Thankfully, their is nothing planned for the rest of the weekend so today has been a true day of rest. I am also looking forward to being off work tomorrow with Rob and Luke. Life is good and every peaceful day with my family is a day to be thankful for.
