Yesterday was Ry's Birthday party and it was a success. Everyone seemed to have a really good time, and Ry had a blast. The nice thing about having the party at my parent's house is that the kids can play for hours and never get bored. The beautiful day helped as well. I was bummed my dad wasn't there (still in Mexico with the Grove), but overall it was a good day.
The only thing that would have made it better was if Luke and Jake had been feeling better. They are both still sick. Jake slept through most of the party, but got up the last hour and got a little play time in. Luke just had an all around bad day. He was really out of it and seizures were not good. It makes me so sad when we have a big family get together and Luke is so out of it. Sometimes I think people don't believe me when I say how good he really is doing. I think he is still fighting off this virus (we were up doing breathing treatments last night), and hope that is the reason for the bad seizure day. Jake is better today but still not good enough to go to school, hopefully tomorrow. Luke is sleeping now so we will see how he does when he wakes up. Thankfully Ry seems to have almost completely recovered (still coughing a little with a runny nose) from her battle with the virus, so an end is in sight.
Despite the boys it was a fun day with family. Thanks to my sis, my mom and Rob everything went off without a hitch :-).
