"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." Psalms 28:7

July 17
After a restless night of breathing treatments and keeping a close eye on Lu, Rob took him to the urgent care. I stayed home with Ry and Jake in an effort to get laundry done and return some normalcy to the house. After 3 hours in the urgent care, blood work and a chest x-ray, it was determined that Luke had a viral infection. Rob and I were both so relieved to find out that his chest was clear because pneumonia is a constant fear.
We had already planned on having Rosa, one of our respite workers, come and hang out with Luke so we could take Ry and Jake swimming. Since Luke was okay, we kept to the original plan. Rosa came over and watched Luke at our house and we took Ry and Jake swimming at my parents' house. Staci and Hannah met us there and you would have thought the most famous celebrity in the world arrived. Both Ry and Jake missed Hannah a lot. Everytime I would say we were going to see cousins, Jake would get excited and say he was going to see Hannah. I think this is one of the reasons he got overwhelmed so easily, the cousins were never Hannah. Sadly, Hannah had to leave for her dad's house for the week, but she proudly put on the IA short we bought her. It was a good day, knowing Luke was getting rest and seeing Ry, but more specifically Jake, so extremely happy.
