So today was supposed to be a day for Rob and me. I have been working so much lately, and with the kids Rob and I have not had much time to just have fun together. Therefore I decided to take a day off work and make all about Rob and me. Disneyland has always been one of our favorite placed to go, but has been difficult with the kids. Ry likes it, but it is too overwhelming for the boys. We had a great morning, just hanging out together. We got to go on rides that we never go on and loved being together. This picture was taken right before the "call" while we were on Splash Mountain (we got drenched).
Luke has started running a fever the day before, so Rob and I had decided to cancel our plans. We were not overly concerned, but figured we should stay home. My mom and Lu's respite care worker, birth assured us Luke would just relax and be fine. We knew he didn't feel good, we figured he would just sleep all day. Turns out that by the afternoon, he was so lethargic that my mom was unable to wake him up. She ended up calling 911 and he was taken by ambulance to Loma Linda. After 10 hours in the ER, the decided to admit him to the ICU. I really felt like the walls were crashing down on me, this could not be happening.
