To say Rob and I are
BEAT would be an understatement. The trip has continued to go well, but
HOME is so close. You know how the end of a trip always seems to take longer than the beginning? Plus, Luke has been running fevers again. While we were driving today his breathing was getting really quick and heavy, so while driving through Oklahoma we went in search of a power converter. We did finally find one, but it added almost an hour to our trip. At least now we can do his breathing treatments in the car. Why did we not think of this before going on a long road trip, I don’t know.
It has been a little frustrating that the kids have continued to get sick. Lu and Ry have ran fevers off an on this entire trip. Not to mention Lu is getting sores on his bottom from sitting so much. My poor boy is such a trooper, but having sick kids adds
WORRY to the already mentally draining trip.
The kids have continued to be amazing, but today was one of the hardest days, traveling. Two more day and we will be
HOME! I can’t wait. Unfortunately, it will also mean a trip to Loma Linda to have Lu checked out. Oh well, that is just
OUR LIFE.
