Two day left and we will be
HOME. We decided to take the Southern route home so that we could stop off at the Grand Canyon on our way. We loved driving through New Mexico. It was so scenic and had a really good fudge stop, Cline’s Corner. It reminded me of stopping at souvenir rest stops when I went on trips with my parents. I was laughing because Ry went straight to the dolls, which is what I used to do.

Once we left Cline’s Corner, a piece of rubber began lifting off the window and a frustrated Rob pulled over. Rob has been such an amazing trooper this entire trip. So often, it feels like nothing goes our way, but Rob and I are both working on
PATIENCE and
SMILING :-).

From that point on the focus was the amazing scenery. I realized this trip how much I love the sky. While in Iowa I loved taking pictures of the clouds rolling in, the bright blue and white clouds, or the amazing sunset. As we travel across different states the beauty never ceases to
AMAZE me.

When we finally reached the Grand Canyon, Rob pulled off to one site so we could take a quick look. The best part was watching Rob. He was like a little kid in a candy store. He just kept saying “
AMAZING” with a big grin on his face. I did take one picture, but the way the sun was setting did not do it justice.

Driving across the states has shown me so many sides of this incredible country. God’s
IMAGINATION and
CREATIVITY when he created this world, is simply overwhelming. I am looking forward to getting a good view and exploring a little tomorrow before driving the last 6 hours home.
